Amigzo connects Seekers to working professionals by the minute. That only works if both sides can trust the room they're stepping into. This page is our plain-English commitment: what we verify, what we keep private by default, how we handle reports, and the small-print things (like "we will never notify your employer") that matter most when nobody's talking about them.

Our commitments

Six promises we will not quietly water down.

Every commitment below is written into product defaults - not left to user settings or buried in fine print.

Skill-first, badge-verified.

Anyone with real skill and the appetite to share it can become a Guide. The Verified badge is a separate bar - earned by Guides who prove their professional identity, current employer, and ability to deliver.

Private by default.

Sessions aren't recorded, transcribed, or indexed. Your name is yours.

Fast, human reporting.

Reports land with our Trust & Safety lead directly - no escalation tree. We acknowledge within 4 working hours, decide within 48.

Honest wallet, honest refunds.

Balance carries forward with no expiry. Unused balance refunds to your bank on request - no questions. Dispute a session within 7 days.

One transparent share.

A single, disclosed platform share on Guide earnings - flat, not tiered. No surge pricing, no opaque "platform fees", no tier the sales team keeps off the public page.

Payouts that arrive.

Guide earnings land in the Amigzo wallet within 48 hours. Withdraw to your bank any time your balance crosses ₹100. No payout fees, ever.

Becoming a Guide - and earning the Verified badge

Anyone with real skill and the enthusiasm to share it is welcome on Amigzo. We've streamlined onboarding so you can start hosting sessions quickly. The Verified badge is a separate, earned bar - reserved for Guides who prove their credentials and their ability to deliver.

Three checks to earn the Verified badge:

Professional identity

We match the Guide's name against a verifiable professional profile (LinkedIn, employer directory, or a work-email domain check).

Current employer or domain

For working professionals, we verify the employer listed on the profile. For independents, founders, or domain experts, we verify domain credentials and a track record of work.

Proven ability

A short ability check - sample answers, portfolio review, or a verified client - so the badge actually means the Guide can deliver, not just that they exist.

Unverified Guides can still host sessions, set their own rates, and build a reputation through ratings. The badge is a search and trust signal - Seekers can filter for it when it matters to them.

Session safety

Everything that makes a session safe is on by default - not a setting you have to find.

Sessions are not recorded
Live calls (voice, video, chat) are not recorded, transcribed, or indexed by Amigzo. If you want notes from a session, take them yourself or agree directly with the other party.
The Report button, on every session
Every session screen and completed-session card has a Report button. Reports go to a real person on our Trust & Safety team - acknowledged in under 4 working hours, decided in under 48. If we agree, we refund and act on the Guide's account (warning, suspension, or removal, depending on severity).
Block, without drama
Either side can block the other from future sessions. The block is silent - the blocked party isn't notified. Future connection attempts between blocked parties just don't happen.
Off-platform asks are a red flag
If a Guide asks a Seeker to pay outside the Platform, or vice-versa, report it. It's against our Terms, it moves the interaction outside any of our safety rails, and it's the first thing most scams try. We refund the Seeker and suspend the offending account on confirmation.

Payment safety

The wallet is the point at which money and trust meet. We take it seriously.

  • Card numbers are processed by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment partner - Amigzo does not see or store full card data.
  • Wallet balance carries forward with no expiry and can be refunded to the originating bank account at any time.
  • Per-minute sessions stop billing the moment either party ends the call. You're never charged for minutes you didn't use.
  • A disputed session can be flagged within 7 days. If the session fell below a fair quality bar, we refund and the Guide's rating reflects it.
  • Withdrawal to the Guide's bank account crosses ₹100 minimum - no fees, no intermediary deductions beyond standard banking charges applied by the bank itself.

Community & conduct

The Doubt Board, public profiles, and event comments share the same rules.

Be useful, not mean.
Disagree strongly, just don't be cruel. Ad hominem, harassment, or targeted hate gets removed without warning.
Share what's yours.
Guides can answer from experience. Don't share information you owe to someone else (an employer, a client, an NDA).
No self-promotion walls.
Answer questions for real; link to your profile when it's relevant. Posting to drive off-platform leads gets flagged.
Anonymous asking, attributed answering.
Seekers post on the Doubt Board anonymously. Guide answers are attributed - the weight of an answer should come with a name.

Reporting an issue

Every report is read by a person. Here's how it flows.

  1. Submit. Use the Report button on the session, the Guide profile, or the community post. Or email team@amigzo.com if you don't have access to the button (e.g., account blocked).
  2. Acknowledge. We acknowledge within 4 working hours with a reference ID.
  3. Review. Our Trust & Safety lead reviews the report and looks at session metadata. No AI moderation decides outcomes alone.
  4. Decide. We get back to you within 48 working hours with an outcome - refund, warning, suspension, removal, or no action, with a short reason.
  5. Escalate. If you disagree with the outcome, reply to the ticket - a second reviewer takes a fresh look. Emergencies go to team@amigzo.com with "URGENT" in the subject.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger: Amigzo is not a crisis line. Please contact your local emergency services or a relevant helpline. We'll cooperate with any valid law-enforcement request in parallel.

Data handling - the short version

We wrote a full Privacy Policy; the parts that matter most for safety are:

  • Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text.
  • Access to session data inside Amigzo is role-based and audit-logged.
  • We do not train any model on session content. Ever.
  • Law-enforcement requests go through legal review; we notify affected users unless we're legally prohibited from doing so.

What we will never do

Stated plainly, so there's no ambiguity later.

  • Notify your current employer that you're on the Platform - whether you're a Guide or a Seeker.
  • Sell your personal data or session content to advertisers, recruiters, data brokers, or any third party.
  • Record, transcribe, or index your sessions. Live sessions are not captured by Amigzo - not silently, not on a timer, not at all.
  • Train any model on the content of sessions. Sessions are for the people in them.
  • Run surge pricing, auction Guide visibility to the highest bidder, or surface paid placements disguised as rankings.
  • Hide behind a chatbot on a safety issue. Reports always reach a human.
